All about Richmond, Surrey
There are plenty of places to live in and around London; which means that if you are moving to the area (or if you are moving within the area) then you are going to be faced with lots of choices.

Richmond is actually classed as Surrey; but, it is on the outskirts of London and it is easy to get into the capital for work or play.

It has Richmond Park
Whilst a large green space should never be the main reason that you move to an area; when it comes to Richmond it is definitely a plus point. Richmond Park transports you into the actual countryside (even though it is only just 10 miles away from the South-West part of Central London). There is extensive grasslands, gardens and even wild deer too. That’s right, all whilst being in the outskirts of London.
It is right on the river
If you like the idea of living on the river, then this is definitely another great thing about Richmond. Not only is it in the prime location for those who want to explore the Thames, but it is also the setting for a number of riverside bars and restaurants too; which might be more your sort of thing!
It is beautiful
One thing that you notice as you head out of London and into Richmond is that it is beautiful. So much so that the view from the top of Richmond Hill actually has inspired artists. The city, whilst a great place to spend some time, can feel a little oppressive when you have been there too long. Which means that having somewhere beautiful to escape to is always going to make you feel great.
There is plenty to see and do
Whilst you may be worried that Richmond is a little on the quiet side, the truth is that it actually has plenty to offer. Richmond Theatre often has a number of shows on, including those who are touring from the city or from even further afield. There are also a number of bars that you can head to in the evening if you want to dance the night away.
